PISTOL TRAINING

Course Overview:

We Offer Basic and Advanced Pistol Training.  Our instructors staff are  NRA certified & insured pistol instructor and range safety officers (“RSO”). The duration of  our course is 8-10 hours conducted over a single day.

 

The course includes: general review of pistols, their  types,  mechanics & operation. Also, we thoroughly review & discuss  ammunition, fundamentals of shooting and more. All student must  pass  the NRA  course written exam and qualify at the practical shooting  session. Practical qualifying shooting session are conducted at the Glenwood Range using .22LR pistol/revolver. We put great emphasis on safe handling of firearms throughout the course, as well as couching students step-by-step on the firing line. Our course is design for the novice shooter(s) and for those who have an established experience as pistol shooters.

 

The cost of attendance to our course is $90/person, although a discount of $45 is given to students who  purchased a firearm prior to the course. The cost of the course include all study material, exam, ammo, firearms, era & eye protection. Students are strongly advised to bring food & drink for the course duration. Our course is comprehensive, we utilize real firearm during presentation, however, NO LIVE AMMO during class room session.

 

Upon successful completion of our course , students will receive NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate as well as signed & notarized affidavit of completion (required by Hawaii County Police Department to apply for pistol permit).
